The weekend of 21-23 January 2011 saw the latest unique event in London; the Careers in Asia Recruitment Summit brought together high-calibre, European-based Asian graduates and professionals with leading employers from across Asia. The last few years have undoubtedly seen uncertainty and difficulty when it comes to finding a successful career. Careers in Asia, an initiative by Global Career Company (GCC), is therefore a very welcome development.
Approximately 600 candidates were invited to the event, from nearly 5000 who applied. They were brought to meet senior HR managers and directors from 11 companies including HSBC, RBS, Maybank, Daimler, and others.
