Job description

Reporting to the General Manager, the Business Development Manager will work as part of a dynamic and multinational Business Development team, generating revenue for Global Career Company (GCC) by nurturing new leads and existing prospects into Clients, selling the portfolio of GCC services across the emerging markets with a focus on Africa and Asia and developing his/her specialisation of the regional markets.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop our portfolio of prospects into clients, selling the full service mix of GCC
  • Develop multiple contacts with each Client account (influencers, decision-makers and stakeholders)
  • Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Grow a loyal Client base
  • Generate leads through market and client research
  • To ensure our databases, our server and all management information is accurate, tidy and regularly updated
  • Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics within specific markets
  • Support other teams within GCC to successfully deliver our recruitment assignments

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven sales track record, a minimum of 4 years which has been gained in a relevant B2B sales environment
  • Ability to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Ability to demonstrate a structured approach to planning and managing the sales process
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Enjoyment of working in an international environment

Person Specification:

  • Degree qualified
  • Sales and business development experience
  • A track record in revenue generation
  • Fluency in English is a pre-requisite, with an additional language being beneficial
