Building on our success, we would like to capitalise on our position as a market leader and are seeking a Business Development Director who is looking for an international career.

Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager, the Business Development Director, working as part of a dynamic and multinational Business Development team, will generate revenue for Global Career Company (GCC) by nurturing prospects into Client, develop a portfolio of clients into Key Accounts, and lead the sales strategy for specific Summits and / or a specific region, develop his/her specialisation of the regional markets and support the General Manager in developing our sales team capabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop our portfolio of prospects into clients, selling the full service mix of GCC
  • Develop clients towards Key Account status
  • Develop multiple contacts with each Client account (influencers, decision-makers and stakeholders)
  • Meet and exceed all revenue targets set quarterly and annually
  • Develop and deliver the sales strategy, acting as Sales Manager for specific Summits and / or a region
  • Generate leads through market and client research
  • To ensure our databases, our server and all information management is accurate, tidy and regularly updated
  • Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics within specific markets
  • Support other teams within GCC to successfully deliver our recruitment assignments

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven sales track record, a minimum of 7 years which has been gained in a relevant B2B sales environment
  • Ability to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Mature client handling skills, at a level to be able to deal with complex situations Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Enjoyment of working in an international environment

Person Specification:

  • Degree qualified
  • Preferably International or in-market experience
  • A track record in revenue generation in B2B sales
  • Fluency in English is a pre-requisite, with an additional language being beneficial
