In 2000 the Company came under the full ownership and management of Trafigura Beheer BV, one of its original founding partners, and began focusing on the need for infrastructure and reconstruction within the downstream sector.
We have more than 30 operating subsidiaries located in over 20 countries worldwide and employee 1,200 people. Puma Energy owns and operates over 12.5 million barrels of refined product storage and supplies in excess of 14 million barrels of products to its customers every year.
Puma Energy is committed to expanding its businesses in Africa. It has further operations in Nigeria, DR Congo, Namibia, Zambia, Tanzania, and Mozambique.
Puma Energy holds significant market shares within each of the countries where it operates and provides a platform for independent entrepreneurs to develop their businesses, by providing a viable alternative to traditional market supply sources. Our success has been achieved by working closely with local entrepreneurs, business communities, financial organisations and government departments to help create an environment where the independent market can grow.
We offer exciting challenges, growth opportunities and career development to those who join this energetic company.
