Global Career Company is a London-based international recruitment consultancy, founded in 2002, offering specialist recruitment services within developing markets across Africa, Asia, Middle East and Russia. We currently manage unique recruitment events and search assignments across the globe on behalf of 150+ of the world’s largest companies.
Over the past five years we have gone through a period of unprecedented growth, with 2006 and 2007 seeing revenues increase in excess of 100%. Building on our success, we would like to capitalise on our position as a market leader and are seeking a number of Recruiters who are looking for a challenge in the international recruitment markets.
The Role
Reporting to the Recruitment Team Leader, the Recruiter will be an integral part of the Recruitment Division and will be responsible for the following:
• Have an active client facing role with specific clients, supporting our Business Development Managers on assignments
• Formulate and manage international recruitment assignments, from search and selection to graduate campaigns and client-specific Recruitment Days
• Be responsible for client and candidate communication throughout all assignments
• Ensure each retained recruitment assignment is delivered to budget and to client expectation
• Be responsible for client activity at GCC Recruitment Summits from pre-selection, short-listing and interview invitation to all follow-up and tracking processes after each Summit
• Grade applicants on a daily basis using the GCC Grading System
• Liaise with Marketing Team to develop and implement relevant attraction plans for each recruitment assignment
• Manage the Candidate Management System on a daily basis to identify ‘high potentials’ for GCC to utilise
• Work with targeted ‘high potential’ candidates to manage their career progression and to ensure GCC remains their recruiter of choice
Person Specification
Degree qualified with demonstrated recruitment experience, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to demonstrate a track record in recruitment campaigns. Experience in recruitment consulting is preferred but not essential. Fluency in English is a pre-requisite, with an additional language being beneficial, preferably French, Portuguese, Mandarin, Russian or Arabic.
