Global Career Company is a London-based international recruitment consultancy, founded in 2002, offering specialist recruitment services within developing markets across Africa, Asia, Middle East and Eastern Europe. We currently manage unique recruitment events and search assignments across the globe on behalf of 150+ of the world’s largest companies.
Over the past five years we have gone through a period of unprecedented growth, with 2006 and 2007 seeing revenues increase in excess of 100%. Building on our success, we would like to capitalise on our position as a market leader and are seeking Business Development Managers who are looking for an international career in sales.
The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Business Development Manager will be an integral part of the Consulting Division and will be responsible for the following:
• Develop prospects into clients, selling the full service portfolio of Global Career Company
• Maintain a large corporate prospect and client base across the world
• Substantial revenue growth across the client portfolio - meet and exceed all revenue targets
• Grow a strong loyalty-base amongst your clients
• Develop each client towards Key Account status of Global Career Company
• Contribute actively to developing and delivering the sales strategy
• Support Relationship Manager and Recruiting Teams with assignments where necessary
• Support Marketing Team at presentations throughout Europe and US where necessary
• Have an active role at Global Career Company Recruitment Summits and Recruitment Days
• Monitor competitor activity and follow up on lead-generation processes.
Person Specification
Degree qualified with demonstrated sales and business development experience, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to demonstrate a track record in revenue generation. Experience in recruitment consulting is preferred but not essential. Fluency in English and Portuguese is a pre-requisite.

Remuneration
An excellent salary package is offered including attractive base + commission + company profit share (after qualification period) + benefits.
