- Attend the Summit on both days.Try to attend the Summit on both the Friday night and during the day on Saturday to ensure you have enough time to speak to all of the company delegates.
- Bring multiple copies your CV. You will have plenty of opportunity to give your CV to companies you are interested in interviewing with. The hotel's business centre is usually very busy during the Summit due to the number of candidates present so it's best to bring enough copies with you.
- Be careful with the Dress Code! You should be dressed like you are attending a formal interview – even at the Friday evening networking function.
- Do some homework beforehand. Find out as much as possible about companies who have invited you for interview or those you wish to secure on-the-spot interviews with, and think about why you want to work for them. Attend the presentations of companies you are interested in, so you can benefit from the Q & A session.
- Arrive early for your interview. If you have an interview, make sure that you arrive at the hotel at least 15 minutes in advance, or 30 minutes in advance if you haven't yet registered.
- Take down the interviewers contact details. If you are lucky enough to secure an interview, make sure to take down the interviewers contact details so that you can follow up with them. Be sure to clarify the next steps, especially due to the variation in individual client hiring practices and timelines. You should ask for a business card so that you can follow up directly with the company afterwards.
