Careers in Africa Recruitment Summit - Welcome

The largest African recruitment event in the world, the sixth Careers in Africa Recruitment Summit in London, took place on 23-25 May 2008.

More than 1500 African graduates and professionals residing across Europe and Africa were selected and invited to attend the Summit, chosen from over 14 000 applicants. Over 3000 interviews with senior business representatives from 51 companies took place over the course of the event, in addition to company presentations and informal networking sessions.

Candidate feedback from proves that participating in a Careers in Africa Recruitment Summit is a unique opportunity for skilled professionals to gain exposure to senior executives from multiple organisations in one location to successfully secure their next career move.

Many candidates received offers during the course of the event thereby confirming that opportunities for rewarding and sustainable careers in Africa exist across all industry sectors, from graduate level roles through to senior and strategic appointments.
